Meet Kevin Jennings, CEO of Be the Change, a nonprofit organization that creates national issue based campaigns on pressing problems in American society. He is also the former Assistant Deputy Secretary of Education, before which he served as the founder of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), a national education organization bringing together lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and straight teachers, parents, students, and community members who want to end anti-LGBT bias. Kevin is a dynamic speaker and understands the power that camps have to impact their own communities and the world around them. Kevin will challenge us to examine how camps relate to the LGBT members of our communities and show us how easy it is to make a difference.
