Fall Resident Camp Conference

Looking for a fun way to wind down after camp? The Fall Resident Camp Conference offers attendees a chance to tour 6 overnight camps and experience how other organizations run their programs and facilities.  Re-energize after the camp season by sharing an overnight experience with colleagues, discuss what worked over the summer and what didn’t, and bring new ideas back to your camp as the off-season begins.  The 2014 Resident Camp Conference will be hosted by Camp Equinunk, Camp Blue Ridge, Pine Forest Camp, International Sports Camp, International Gymnastics Camp, and Camp Canadensis.

Pricing: $89 per member and $99 per non-member

 

* We have reserved a block of rooms at the Comfort Inn Pocono Lakes Region, 117 Twin Rocks Road 1-84 exit 17, Lake Ariel, PA, US 18436. You can book a room by calling  (570) 689-4148 and referencing the ACA or American Camp Association. The rate is $89/ night plus tax and includes breakfast. This rate will expire on September 5th, so book your room soon!

Fall Day Camp Conference

Join us as we pay tribute to camping legend Ben Appelbaum’s enthusiasm and service to our industry through a day dedicated to day camp programs. This year's conference will include tours of two great Westchester camps' grounds and facilities.  This year’s conference will not include any sessions so that we have time to see all that these camps have to offer!

Nonprofit Conference

A one day conference for professionals in the not for profit camp industry. Come and hear from professionals about trends in the industry (funding/staffing/programming), learn from colleagues and share ideas, and participate in break-out discussions and group work.

Joe Kruger Youth Development Conference: I Can’t Keep Calm Because I Have Anxiety

The 2014 Joe Kruger Conference will focus on “I Can’t Keep Calm Because I Have Anxiety.” With a growing population of campers, parents and staff arriving at camp with diagnosed and undiagnosed levels of anxiety, keynote speaker, Catherine Steiner-Adair will address the variety of social pressures our camp populations are facing at home and bringing with them in their duffel to camp. Steiner-Adair, along with a number of fantastic break-out speakers, will provide hands on tools for dealing with our camp families and staff as they navigate their way through their summer experience.
