Camp Games for a Cause

Join the American Camp Association, NY and NJ and hundreds of  camp staff, alumni, and campers 16 and over for Camp Games for a Cause, a day full of traditional camp color war & Olympic like games such as sing-offs, tug-of-war, relays, and basketball shoot-outs to raise money to provide low income children with a great camp experience.  Location: Columbia University, New York City.  Click here for directions to Dodge Fitness Center from entering Columbia at 116th St. and Broadway.

Fall Resident Camp Conference

 

Looking for a fun way to wind down after camp? The Fall Resident Camp Conference offers attendees a chance to tour 5 overnight camps and experience how other organizations run their programs and facilities.  Re-energize after the camp season by sharing an overnight experience with colleagues, discuss what worked over the summer and what didn’t, and bring new ideas back to your camp as the off-season begins.

The 2012 Resident Camp Conference will be hosted by Timber Lake West, Frost Valley YMCA, Timber Lake Camp, Scatico and Pontiac.

Ben Appelbaum Day Camp Conference

 

Join us as we pay tribute to camping legend Ben Appelbaum’s enthusiasm and service to our industry through a day dedicated to day camp programs. The conference includes educational sessions on topics such as business development, leadership, and current trends and issues in camping as well as a tour of the host camp’s grounds and facilities. 

The 2012 Ben Appelbaum Day Camp Conference will be hosted by Woodmont Day Camp and Camp Ramaquois.

Joe Kruger Youth Development Conference

 

The 2012 Joe Kruger Conference will focus on today’s "Tweens, Teens and Everything in Between".  Spend the day discussing and learning about how Tweens and Teens (11 to 16 year olds) develop, interact, and socialize, as individuals and in groups
