As Director of Camper Placement, Renee speaks to parents throughout the year who are looking for a camp for their child.  She takes into account what families are looking for as well as the child’s interests, and guides parents through the process of choosing a camp.  In her position at ACA, Renee has spent the last 15 years talking to parents about what they hope to find in a camp and what factors they consider when making such an important decision.

Jess Michaels has been the Director of Communications for ACA, NY and NJ for 3 ½ years and has garnered both local and national media for the summer camp industry.  She has worked in the public relations and communications field for 15 years and prior to joining ACA, NY and NJ, she worked for both Thirteen/WNET, the flagship PBS station in New York and at the publishing company Penguin Young Readers Group.
